Handwoven in Kalimantan
HANDEP（ハンデップ）は、インドネシア・中部カリマンタンで2019年に、ダヤク出身のRandi Julian Mirandaが設立したソーシャルエンタープライズ／クラフトブランド。地域の森林やフォレストガーデン由来の素材を生かし、ダヤクの職人と協働して、ラタンのバッグ、アクセサリー、バスケット、ホームデコレーションなどを展開する。先住民を土地や森と再び結び、祖先の知恵に沿った持続可能な村落経済を育てることを理念とし、伝統工芸の継承と地域の所得向上を両立。手織りのラタン製品を軸に、国際市場にも商品を届けている。
コンセプト
To help reconnect indigenous Dayak people to their rich lands and forests, encouraging them to nurture their local resources while adding value to what they have, and economically grow together as a community by creating sustainable village economies that align with ancestral wisdom.
