Overview

ANNA SUI THE SOUVENIR SHOP is a diffusion line of ANNA SUI launched by the Mitsukoshi Isetan Group in March 2016. Inspired by Anna Sui’s love of travel, it is centered on “travel and resorts.” Using motifs from past collections as a starting point, it reimagines them with new colors and a distinct worldview. The line focuses on womenswear and accessories designed with travel in mind, and is available at Mitsukoshi Isetan stores and online.

Concept

With designer Anna’s love of travel as its inspiration, the line is based on the concept of “travel and resorts.” Drawing on motifs used in past collections, it creates new designs with colors and a worldview distinct from those of ANNA SUI to date. Its range of items explores themes such as things to take on a trip and things encountered while traveling.

Parent brands

  • Anna Sui 1981

ANNA SUI THE SOUVENIR SHOP is a derivative line that reconfigures archival motifs used in the parent brand’s collections within the context of “travel and resort.” It designs products based on motifs from past collections and reinterpretations of those motifs, using different color palettes and a distinct aesthetic, and focuses primarily on accessories, travel goods, and casualwear. Unlike the main line’s runway presentation, it serves as a line for products used while traveling and in everyday life. It has also been found at Japanese department store online retailers, among others.
