Liberty Fabrics is the textile-specialist division of the Liberty group, responsible for developing, manufacturing, and selling fabrics, drawing on its in-house design studio in London and an archive of more than 45,000 prints. Centered on Tana Lawn™, one of its signature base fabrics, it pursues archive reissues alongside new designs created in-house, supplying its print assets to both the apparel and home sectors. Print production is centered on a factory near Como, Italy, and also uses multiple production sites, including printing in Japan. In addition to selling fabric by the meter to retailers, it supplies fabrics through wholesale and licensing, and, through collaborations with external designers and major brands, serves both the parent brand’s product development and the provision of materials to other companies.
