Overview

MACKINTOSH LONDON is a sub-brand derived from MACKINTOSH, one of the UK’s leading outerwear brands. Under license from the British company MACKINTOSH, Sanyo Shokai began its launch in Japan in the Fall/Winter 2015 season. Building on the craftsmanship of MACKINTOSH, symbolized by its rubberized coats, and the heritage of traditional outerwear, it offers a complete collection for men and women that extends beyond coats.

Concept

While inheriting the DNA of MACKINTOSH, it offers a complete, authentic collection designed to suit all kinds of everyday settings, not just outerwear.

A total collection line that originated as a derivative of the British outerwear brand MACKINTOSH. Building on the heritage of the brand’s signature rubberized coats and its outerwear-making DNA, it has expanded beyond outerwear to include items suited to a wide range of everyday situations. In Japan, it is developed as a licensed brand focused primarily on department stores, with sales channels separate from MACKINTOSH (the first line), and forms a derivative line alongside MACKINTOSH PHILOSOPHY.
