OPENING CEREMONY was a fashion brand and concept boutique founded in New York City in 2002 by Carol Lim and Humberto Leon. It offered its own women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, accessories, and footwear, and was also known for its multi-brand selection and diverse collaborations. It became part of New Guards Group in 2020, and its physical stores closed that same year as the brand shifted its focus to brand development.
