SCARPA is an outdoor footwear brand for mountain sports, founded in 1938 in Asolo, northern Italy, by Sir Rupert Edward Cecil Lee Guinness. From its beginnings, it brought together shoemakers from the area around Asolo with the aim of creating the finest footwear. It offers performance footwear for activities including mountaineering, climbing, trekking, alpine skiing, and trail running. Since 1956, it has been run by the Parisotto family and has continued production with its headquarters and manufacturing facilities in the same area of northern Italy, guided by a commitment to combining innovation and craftsmanship.
