Editorial Policy

szu presents fashion brand information so that readers can check its sources and assumptions. We edit public information to help readers find and learn about brands.

Last updated: October 18, 2026

1. Editorial purpose

We aim to make brand information consistently accessible. Names, countries of origin, founding years, categories, designers and related brands are presented using consistent criteria.

2. Sources

We refer to official brand websites, public company information, press releases, public documents, publisher and industry-media articles, retailers and other public services. Where basic facts such as founding year, country of origin or operating company differ, we prioritize official or primary sources.

3. Names and classifications

We standardize variations in brand names, countries, eras, categories and relationships with people or companies for use in listings. Classifications describe main characteristics supported by public information; they do not judge a brand’s value.

4. Related brands

Related and similar brands are organized using several indicators, including parent and sub-brand relationships, operating companies, designers, categories, countries, eras, collaborations and product characteristics. Displayed relationships do not indicate superiority, an official partnership or brand endorsement.

5. Independence from advertising

Advertising revenue, affiliate payments, listing requests or supplied products do not change basic brand facts, classifications or related-brand information. Advertising, PR, supplied content and sponsored collaborations are distinguished from ordinary editorial content.

6. Accuracy and updates

We prepare information carefully from public sources, but brand information may change and accuracy, completeness and currency cannot be guaranteed. For important decisions, also check official brand websites and public company information as needed.
