The Timekeeper Of Choice For Alpinists
Alpina is a watch brand founded in Switzerland in 1883 by Gottlieb Hauser. With origins in Winterthur, the brand moved to Bienne in the 1890s and is now based in Geneva (Plan‑les‑Ouates), where it operates its manufacture. Its focus is on producing professional sports watches, carrying forward the principles of shock resistance, anti-magnetism, water resistance, and a stainless-steel case set out with the 1938 “Alpina 4.” Its collections include Alpiner, Startimer, Seastrong, and Heritage, and its products are distributed internationally.

Concept

Our mission is now and has always been to manufacture extremely reliable professional sports watches, respecting and implementing the "Alpinist Principle" in manufacturing, design and technological innovation.
