AZ Factory is a digital luxury fashion brand founded in Paris in 2019 by Albert Elbaz as a joint venture with Richemont. It began operations in January 2021 and focused primarily on womenswear, with a stated aim of creating practical, inclusive clothing that addresses everyday challenges. It is characterized by combining traditional craftsmanship with technology and innovation. After Elbaz’s death, it shifted to a format involving collaborations with guest designers. In 2024, it ended product development and sales as a fashion brand and transitioned into AZ Academy, which supports designer development.
