Ben Lenovitz is an artist and designer born in 1991 and from New York. He studied painting at SUNY New Paltz and launched the wooden block art project “Art on Block” in 2014. Working primarily in drawing, oil painting, spray painting, sculpture, and pet portraits, he takes animals such as dogs and cats, urban creatures, people, and imaginary characters as his subjects. He is known for an approach that combines pop art and folk art, and has contributed artwork to television shows and illustrated *Minding the Store*.
