Brooks England is a bicycle accessories brand founded in Birmingham, England, in 1866 by John Boultbee Brooks as a leather goods business. In 1878, prompted by the discomfort of wooden bicycle saddles, it developed a leather saddle. Since then, it has offered products centered on saddles, including bicycle bags, grips, and bar tape. In addition to leather saddles, it launched the Cambium series, made with non-leather materials, in 2013. Upholding a spirit of ingenuity, it continues to sell products today.
