Overview

California General Store is a Japanese lifestyle store rooted in a surf shop that former owner Mr. Ishida started in Shonan, Fujisawa, in 1997. UNITED ARROWS succeeded to the trademark rights, and the store relocated and reopened in Kugenuma-Kaigan in September 2021. In addition to surf-related products such as surfboards and wetsuits, it offers original genderless, sizeless clothing and accessories, as well as wellness and sports lines. The current store in Kugenuma-Kaigan will close on March 1, 2026, and a new store will open at LaLaport TOKYO-BAY on March 17 of the same year.

Rooted in the lifestyle culture of the U.S. West Coast (California), California General Store is a “Well-being Culture Store” where people create culture, fashion, and community with a healthy, free, and natural mindset.
