Overview

The French brand Carven began when Marie-Louise Carven (whose real name was Carmen de Tommaso) opened an haute couture house at Rond-Point on the Champs-Élysées in Paris in 1945. It operated under the haute couture designation until 1996 and now focuses mainly on ready-to-wear. It also covers fragrance, including perfume.
