Maison Margiela Artisanal is an atelier-made couture collection introduced in 1989 as part of Maison Margiela, founded in Paris in 1988 by Martin Margiela and Jenny Meirens. Vintage clothing and found materials are reconstructed by hand and made in small quantities as one-of-a-kind pieces. Since 2006, it has been presented on the Paris Haute Couture calendar.

Sonia by Sonia Rykiel is a fashion brand originating in Paris, France, and a second line by its founder, Sonia Rykiel. It originally began in 1989 as “Inscription Rykiel,” was renamed in 1999, and developed clothing and accessories as a contemporary prêt-à-porter line. The diffusion line was closed as part of a management restructuring in 2016.
