DERBYSTAR is a sports equipment brand based in Goch, western Germany. It was established as an independent company in 1968 and has manufactured footballs since 1963. Hand-sewn balls are its main product, alongside teamwear, goalkeeper gloves, training equipment, medical supplies, and other products. In the mid-1970s, it was among the early adopters of synthetic materials for balls. It is now part of the SELECT Sport group and has supplied official match balls to leagues and clubs in various countries, primarily in Europe.
