Overview

Velviona is the name of a fragrance released by the fashion brand Helmut Lang, a limited-edition perfume launched in 2001. Helmut Lang was founded in Paris in 1986 by designer Helmut Lang. The fragrance uses a monomolecular-style formula centered on Velvione, a synthetic musk ingredient by Givaudan, and is said to have initially been sold exclusively at the brand’s New York boutique. It is now discontinued.
