Overview

LOTOS is a luxury eyewear brand with origins in jewelry, founded in 1872 by Philipp Doppenschmidt in Pforzheim, the “City of Gold” in southern Germany. Building on metalworking techniques developed through high-end jewelry making, the brand went on to become an eyewear manufacturer, producing handcrafted frames in keeping with the Schmidt family tradition. It produces highly jewelry-inspired glasses and sunglasses centered on the fusion of jewelry and eyewear, primarily using 18K solid gold and platinum.

Concept

As the world's leading luxury eyewear manufacturer, LOTOS has long recognized that luxury means offering the best of the best – rare and precious items that captivate the viewer on sight.
