French shoemaker since 1908
Paraboot is a footwear brand founded in 1908 by Rémy-Alexis Richard in Izeaux (Isère), France. Operating as the family business Richard-Ponvert, it continues to manufacture footwear from its workshop in Saint-Jean-de-Moirans, at the foot of the Alps, with stitched shoemaking methods such as Norwegian and Goodyear construction at its core. It also produces its own rubber soles and offers men’s and women’s shoes and related items.

Concept

At Paraboot our shoe creations evolve out of the use of exceptional materials, detailing that is unique in shoemaking, and the highest respect for the foot.
