PENELOPE is a fashion boutique founded in 1969 by Roberta Valentini in Brescia, Italy. Rather than operating as a designer brand focused primarily on its own products, it has operated as a select shop, choosing and selling clothing and accessories from designer brands in Italy and abroad. It introduced Comme des Garçons, Yohji Yamamoto, and Martin Margiela, among others, at an early stage. In Brescia, it also operates Penelope Sposa and Boysloft as stores under the same operating group.
