Overview

Peuterey is a premium outerwear brand founded in Tuscany, Italy, in 2002. It is said to have been launched in 2002 by Italian designer Graziano Gianelli, and its name derives from the “Peuterey” ridge of Mont Blanc. Its official concept is “Reality Telling,” an approach that aims to fulfill the everyday “purpose and soul” through practical clothing that brings form and function together. Focusing on outerwear for men, women, and children, it also offers apparel, footwear, and accessories. Federico Curradi became creative director in 2016.

Concept

Our concept of “Reality Telling” celebrates people in their lives, in their time and space, responding to the need to wear clothes with a soul and a purpose, designed to please and to reflect the present of those who live them.

On Peuterey’s official website, it is listed alongside Main under Collections and presented as a line offering more formal items, including suits, blazers, coats, and trousers, for both women and men. It occupies a distinct direction centered on the quality of its tailoring and the reinterpretation of formalwear, while its role within the brand differs from that of Plurals, which emphasizes experimentation more strongly.

Peuterey Plurals is an ongoing line officially described as a “new line” and “creative lab,” launched in 2019. Centered on genderlessness, a new generation, street art, and an urban wardrobe, it strongly emphasizes experimentation and freedom, taking on an expressive domain distinct from Main. While Première leans toward the formal, Plurals is positioned as a derivative line that presents another angle of the brand.
