Riversole is a sandal project/collection launched in 2024 through a collaboration between Indosole and Sungai Watch (Sungai Design), an environmental conservation organization on the Indonesian island of Bali. It produces footwear that reuses discarded flip-flops collected from Indonesian rivers in components such as insoles, and also combines recycled tires and regenerated nylon. Its core is circular manufacturing that “turns waste into value,” and it was introduced as a limited series of 1,000 pairs worldwide.
