TIMEX IRONMAN is a series of digital sports watches launched in 1986 by the American company Timex. Development was spearheaded for market launch by Mario Sabatini, who was responsible for digital products at the time, and the design was overseen by designer John T. Houlihan. Centered on training-oriented features such as a stopwatch, timer, multifunction alarm, and water resistance, the series has been sold worldwide in multiple lines, including Classic, Adrenaline, and T200, since the introduction of the INDIGLO backlight. Some IRONMAN models are held in the Smithsonian National Museum of American History.
