built from a step
TOJI is a running-focused activewear line developed by SAN SAN GEAR. Based in Seoul, South Korea, it is designed with consideration for an environment where the city and nature coexist. The brand name combines the Chinese characters 土 (토) and 誌 (지), meaning “a record on the ground,” and carries the message, “Our movements are recorded on the ground we walk on.” It avoids excessive complexity and pursues practicality, aiming to provide an optimal fit for both everyday life and the field while eliminating unnecessary embellishments. Kim Gi-un, representative of the running store wherever, which was involved from the planning stage in design, material selection, and field testing, also took part. It officially launched in 2026.

TOJI is an activewear line presented as a separate line on SAN SAN GEAR’s official website. For SS26, “RADIX” presents a design philosophy grounded in an environment where the city and nature coexist, focusing on the act of running itself and the time surrounding it. The line description also emphasizes practicality over excessive complexity and aims for a design that can be worn comfortably both in everyday life and in the field. While SAN SAN GEAR offers a broad range of techwear, TOJI has a distinct role centered on running. Job listings also include positions dedicated exclusively to TOJI.
