TRUDON is a candle and fragrance maison that began in Paris, France, in 1643, when Claude Trudon opened a shop on Rue Saint-Honoré and started selling spices and candles. In Antony, south of Paris, Michel Brice Péan de Saint-Gilles established a manufactory in 1702 for bleaching wax and making candles, which developed into a Royal Manufactory. Today, the maison makes candles at its own factory in Normandy and also offers fragrance items, including perfumes.
