United Nude is a footwear brand founded in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, in 2003 by architecturally trained designer Rem D. Koolhaas and seventh-generation shoemaker Galahad Clark. Focused primarily on high heels, the brand creates experimental products at the intersection of design, engineering, and art, guided by a design philosophy that treats shoes as “small architectural projects.” It has expanded internationally through collaborations with Zaha Hadid, Iris van Herpen, and Issey Miyake, among others, and through several concept stores.
