Overview

URBAN RESEARCH DOORS is a Japan-origin label and select shop whose first store was opened in Chayamachi, Osaka, in 2003 by Urban Research Co., Ltd. In addition to clothing for men, women, and children, it offers lifestyle goods and furniture. With the concept of “making life today more comfortable,” it proposes products that accompany everyday life from the perspectives of clothing, food, and living. It aims to deliver items that convey their makers’ intentions and serve as a guide opening the “doors” to new values.

Parent brands

  • URBAN RESEARCH 1997

Derived from URBAN RESEARCH, this lifestyle-oriented label proposes “wear, eat, live” through not only clothing but also food, home goods, and furniture. In contrast to the parent brand’s urban selections and wardrobe recommendations, it curates offerings with an emphasis on the environment, designs made to last, and everyday comfort. While Sonny Label focuses on relaxed casualwear and SENSE OF PLACE introduces trends, DOORS extends its scope from fashion to everyday life as a whole.
