Classic V2 appeared in the early 1990s and is said to have been produced and distributed through VeZe, a joint venture between Versace and Ermenegildo Zegna. Around 2004, some lines were reorganized and transitioned, and Classic V2 was subsequently phased out.

Versace Classic V2 (V2) was a classic-oriented diffusion line introduced in the 1990s and supplied through a production arrangement with VeZe, a joint venture with Ermenegildo Zegna.
