YAKU is a brand founded in 2023 by Yaku Stapleton, a St Albans-born designer based in London. From an Afrofuturist perspective, it reimagines family stories as an RPG world and focuses on ready-to-wear. Its main line unfolds as the “The ~~Im~~ Possible Family Reunion in RPG Space” series, and the brand is also characterized by techwear made with upcycled materials. It also holds free upcycling workshops to make the brand more accessible.
