Bates Zero Massとは
Bates Zero Mass（ベイツ・ゼロ・マス）は、アメリカのワーク／ユニフォーム向けフットウェアブランドBates（ベイツ）が2012年に発表した軽量タクティカルブーツのコレクション。Batesは1885年創業で、Zero Massは主に8インチ・6インチのサイドジップブーツやミッドシューズを展開した。コンセプトは快適性と軽量化で、耐摩耗レザーや圧縮成形EVAミッドソール、抗菌インソール等の機能素材を採用。複数モデルが小売で流通したが、後にメーカーで生産終了となっている。

Lightweight tactical collection
Zero Mass is a Bates collection introduced as a lightweight training/tactical range (announced in 2012). The line combined reduced outsole rubber, compression‑molded EVA midsoles, breathable uppers and Wolverine Warrior Leather variants to minimize weight while retaining duty durability; it was presented as a distinct collection within Bates' product architecture.
