Le Monde Berylとは
Le Monde Beryl（ルモンドベリル）は、Lily Atherton HanburyとKatya Shyfrinによって2016年にロンドンで設立されたシューズブランド。伝統的なヴェネチアン・ゴンドリエールのスリッパやバレリーナシュー、ライディングブーツに着想し、職人がイタリアでハンドフィニッシュすることを軸に展開する。機能性と美しさ、動きとエレガンスの両立を掲げ、ミニマルなブランディングと細部のこだわりを反映。さらに、耐久性がありサステナブルでコレクタブルなものづくりを目指し、アップサイクル素材を含むミニマルウェイストの考え方も取り入れている。
コンセプト
The mindset: shoes that evoke the freedom to travel light but far, that are special but not precious. A design integrity: the meeting points between functionality and beauty, movement and elegance. Style out of necessity: unique elevated details, conceived beyond fashion, to offer confidence, luxury, comfort and spontaneity. Craftsmanship: hand-finished in Italy by artisans, products that are built to last, to be sustainable and collectible. Inspiration: a collage of memories, art, culture, design and film, the tension between newness and nostalgia, the curiosity of collaborations and discovery.
