Wouters & Hendrix（ウッターズ・アンド・ヘンドリックス）は、1984年にKatrin WoutersとKaren Hendrixがベルギー・アントワープで立ち上げたジュエリーブランド。2人はアントワープの王立芸術アカデミーで金細工を学び、伝統的なジュエリー制作と着用のルールを“bend the rules”しながら、クラフトマンシップとサプライズの融合、シュルレアリスムへの愛、予想外の素材・技法の組み合わせを追求する。作品はアントワープのアトリエでハンドメイドされている。
コンセプト
Since 1984, Wouters & Hendrix is about blending craftsmanship and surprise. Born in an avant-garde moment, we bend the rules of traditional jewellery making and wearing. Subtle rebels with a love for surrealism, we are drawn to unexpected combinations of materials and techniques.
