Aganovich is a fashion brand founded in London in 2006 by designer Nana Aganovich, a graduate of St Martins, and writer Brooke Taylor. The brand presented its first collection at Paris Fashion Week in 2009 and has since made Paris its main presentation venue, developing conceptual designs that incorporate inspiration from literature and art into the construction and narratives of its garments. Focusing primarily on womenswear, it has also worked in menswear and haute couture since Fall/Winter 2014. The brand describes its philosophy as “anarchy through elegance” and operates as a design duo, with Nana responsible for design and Brooke for the literary background and storytelling.
