ATTESA

Launched in 2003, ATTESA Radio-Controlled is a historic offshoot line recorded in the design archives as the world’s first radio-controlled watch with an antenna built into its full-metal exterior. An early model combining the refinement of the titanium exterior pursued by ATTESA with the practicality of automatic time reception, it is an important starting point in the development of the brand’s radio-controlled watch line; the archives also record that full-page newspaper advertisements ran at its launch.

ATTESA DIRECT FLIGHT, introduced in 2009, is a historical derivative line preserved in the design archives as the world’s first world-time model displaying 26 cities. It combines crown-centered analog operation with a world-time configuration that displays cities on a disk, and the same design philosophy continued in the 2012 model of the same name. It represents an expansion of the functionality of radio-controlled watches established by Radio-Controlled, extending it to ease of use while traveling and highly legible world-time displays.

The current ATT​​ESA official website lists ACT Line and Regular Line in its lineup, with the ACT Line featuring Eco-Drive GPS satellite radio-controlled watches and Eco-Drive radio-controlled watches with a world time function. It is presented as having a powerful yet lightweight design suitable for both suit styles and casual wear, and brings together functionality centered on Super Titanium™, Direct Flight, and GPS satellite radio-controlled watches, making it easy to use in everyday activities and while traveling. It is the current main derivative line.
