BREITLING for BENTLEY is a collaborative collection launched in 2002 by Swiss watchmaker Breitling and British automaker Bentley. Centered on high-precision Swiss-made chronographs, its signature automotive-inspired designs include a bezel evoking a radiator grille and wood-grain dials, drawing on Bentley’s dashboard clock as a starting point. The first dedicated model was released in 2003, followed by numerous limited editions and models equipped with in-house movements. The official partnership between the two companies lasted approximately 19 years and ended in 2021.

Breitling for Bentley is a Breitling-branded derivative line developed in collaboration with Bentley, which began in 2003. It featured dedicated designs reflecting Bentley’s automotive styling, such as grille patterns and dashboard clock designs, and specifications primarily targeting automotive enthusiasts. It was developed using a design language distinct from Breitling’s existing collections. Following a review of the brand strategy, its treatment as a separate line under the same name was phased out, and the approach shifted to offering Bentley-related models as “Bentley editions” within existing collections.
