CHIMI is an eyewear brand founded in Stockholm, Sweden, in 2016 by childhood friends Daniel Djurdjevic and Charlie Lindström. Focusing on sunglasses and eyeglasses, it is built around iconic classic silhouettes while seeking to balance design with everyday functionality. The brand offers frames made with premium Italian acetate and other materials, and launched its performance line (Ski) in 2019.     CHIMI SKI is a derivative line in the performance segment launched by CHIMI in 2019, positioned within the brand for winter sports use.     CHIMI OPTICS is positioned as a line of optical frames established by CHIMI to address demand for prescription eyewear and optical products beyond its sunglasses-focused offering. CHIMI officially identifies “CHIMI OPTICS” as a “line.” The line centers on frames made from acetate, titanium, and other materials, with designs and guidance based on the inclusion of demo lenses that are intended to be replaced with prescription lenses. Its role differs from that of CHIMI SKI, which specializes in functionality for snowy mountains; CHIMI OPTICS expands the brand’s entry point and everyday use cases in the field of vision correction.
