Hermès, contemporary artisan since 1837
-
Hermès Maison is the home division of the French luxury house Hermès. Building on the history of Thierry Hermès opening a workshop in Paris in 1837 as a harness maker, it offers a wide range of objects for interiors, including furniture, lighting, textiles, games, and tableware. Centered on the idea of deriving form and materials from function, its collections are conceived under the supervision of Charlotte Macaux Perelman and Alexis Fabry (Deputy Artistic Director).
