Iconic Japanese Denim Brand
EVISU is a Japanese denim brand founded in Osaka in 1991 by Hidehiko Yamane. It was among the first to introduce Japanese-made selvage denim and custom distressing. In its early days, the brand made about 14 pairs of jeans a day, each with a hand-painted seagull logo. Continuing its mission to “make the highest-quality products,” the brand takes its name from the Japanese god Ebisu and is centered around its iconic seagull logo, offering men’s and women’s apparel and accessories, as well as lines including EVISUKURO and EVISU VINTAGE.
