FANNI LEMMERMAYER is a long-established knitwear brand founded in Vienna, Austria, in 1877 by Fanni Lemmermayer. The founder began the business with a single knitting machine and, in 1920, established the world's first factory to produce alpaca links-and-links (pearl stitch). Today, the brand uses yarn made from 100% Peruvian alpaca to make cardigans, pullovers, vests, and other items using the same technique. Its products are made in Austria, carrying on traditional techniques and quality under the belief that “nothing is better than the best.”
