The first hands-free skiboot.
HF is a spin-off line of ski boots announced in 2019 by Nordica, an Italian ski equipment brand. Nordica was founded in 1939 in Montebelluna by Adriano Vaccari and Oddone Vaccari. The name HF comes from “Hands Free.” The line offers alpine ski boots centered on a rear-entry design, an Easy Entry Shell that opens up to 40 degrees, and a buckle mechanism that allows the boots to be put on and taken off without using the hands. Guided by the motto “keep it simple,” it focuses on combining comfort and skiing performance.

HF is a Nordica ski boot line focused on comfort and ease of entry and removal. Nordica’s official website highlights the Easy Entry Shell and rear buckle as central to a design that makes putting on and taking off the boots easier, and offers multiple models across HF, HF S, and HF Pro. Unlike Dobermann and Promachine, which emphasize high performance and a narrow fit, HF foregrounds ease of use, comfort, and suitability for a wide range of skiers. The official website explicitly refers to it as the “HF line” and “HF family,” supporting its recognition as a distinct boot line.
