JONES (Jones Sports Co.) is a golf equipment brand founded by George Jones in Portland, Oregon, USA, in 1971. Starting with single-strap carry bags, it offers stand bags, cart bags, backpacks, duffels, coolers, golf apparel, hats, and other products. At its core is “functional simplicity,” which prioritizes ease of use over unnecessary embellishment, while carrying on the founder’s craftsmanship and vintage design. After gaining support for its single-strap bags in the 1970s and 1980s, the brand was revived following its acquisition in 2011. It is still based in Portland and produces custom bags and products for teams.
