Overview

KANGOL FIELD is an outdoor casual line launched in 2006 by Kangol, a long-established British brand. The parent brand, Kangol, was founded in Britain in 1938 by Jacques Spreiregen. It offered a blend of the high functionality of outdoor sports, Kangol’s coolness, and the feel of the great outdoors, with a focus on apparel. It appears to be a discontinued sub-line.

KANGOL FIELD was derived from KANGOL’s domestic master license rollout and was a line responsible for functional casualwear based on outdoor sports. While KANGOL itself focused primarily on hats, KANGOL FIELD proposed products and styles oriented toward outdoor activities and natural environments, expanding into apparel from a different direction than KANGOL JEANS, which was centered on denim. Its outdoor focus was more explicit than that of KANGOL SPORT, which catered to a broad range of everyday settings, and it was also distinct from KANGOLF, which was dedicated to golf. Its rollout as a brand master began in 2005, and it is now classified as a past Japan-oriented spin-off line.
