Overview

KANGOL JEANS is a jeans casualwear line derived from KANGOL, which originated in the UK. Crown Creative, its Japanese licensee, began developing the line in 2005 as the brand master, proposing adult jeans casualwear with a British sensibility. KANGOL was founded in the UK in 1938 and began offering categories beyond hats in Japan in 1993. In 2006, KANGOL JEANS selected Kazumi Morohoshi and Tomomi Kahara as image models. It is not listed in the current official brand lineup.

A past derivative line that expanded everyday wear around denim

KANGOL JEANS is a Japan-focused line derived from KANGOL’s domestic master license busines

KANGOL JEANS is a Japan-focused line derived from KANGOL’s domestic master license business, specializing in casual wear centered on denim. While KANGOL itself is built around hats, this line expanded its everyday-wear offerings around jeans and denim casualwear. Unlike KANGOL SPORT, which addressed a broad range of everyday settings, and KANGOL FIELD, which focused on outdoor functionality, it was positioned with a focus on denim garments in both material and product type. Its rollout as a brand master began in 2005, and it is now categorized as a past Japan-focused derivative line that does not appear in the current list of major brands.
