Overview

La Perla Studio was an Italian lingerie line derived from La Perla, founded by Ada Masotti in Bologna, Italy, in 1954. It aimed for a younger market and a more accessible price range than the main brand, and offered lingerie, corsets, nightwear, and beachwear. In the 2009 brand reorganization, it was positioned as one of the main brands alongside La Perla and Villa Toscana, and it was relaunched in 2013. Its design team was formed under the supervision of La Perla artistic director Giovanni Bianchi. It cannot currently be confirmed as an active main line and is categorized as a past offshoot line.

La Perla Studio was one of the main lines established by La Perla during a brand restructuring around 2009, and was developed for a younger, more international customer base than the main brand. At its 2013 relaunch, it was positioned to offer trend-oriented underwear across a wider price range for women in their 30s and 40s who were limiting their investment in luxury lingerie. In a structure where La Perla itself occupied the top tier and Villa Toscana the middle tier, Studio was positioned as a diffusion line responsible for everyday wear and market expansion.
