Matériel (Matériel Tbilisi) is a fashion brand founded in Tbilisi, Georgia, in 2014 by Maia Gogiberidze. Building on the expertise of the fashion house Materia, which developed after the collapse of the USSR, it functions as an incubator for Georgia’s emerging fashion scene, with providing opportunities for young designers to develop their experience at its core. The design department is led and run by multiple designers, and the brand operates with a consistent production structure.
