A WEARABLE MUSEUM.
Mr. Saturday is a fashion brand founded by Joey Gorish in Toronto, Canada, in 2017. Centered on the idea of a “wearable museum” that documents subcultural history through tailoring, it develops collections inspired by ephemera, historical events, and social movements. It communicates primarily through D2C channels and pop-ups, while also participating in international showrooms. It has also established Department of Research and Records as a more accessible collection.

Mr. Saturday is a D2C brand launched in 2017, developing collections based on ephemera, historical events, and social movements. Department of Research and Records was a separate collection presented on the lower floor of the 2020 flagship store, apart from the main full line upstairs. It served as a more accessible offering that broadened the brand’s entry point. In contrast to the museum-like mainline, it was positioned as a link to everyday wardrobes.
