OPPOSE DUALITY is a Japanese menswear brand launched by designer Yojiro Takagi for the Spring/Summer 2024 season. After graduating from Bunka Fashion College, Takagi studied menswear at Central Saint Martins and gained design experience at CAROL CHRISTIAN POELL. The brand proposes new workwear by combining opposing elements such as delicacy and strength, tradition and modernity, and ruggedness and refinement in a single design. It pursues a balance between functionality and beauty as an object.
