PROTOTYPES is an upcycled ready-to-wear brand founded in Zurich, Switzerland, in 2021 by Laura Beham / Callum Pigeon. At its core is the “Second Life Line,” which reconstructs deadstock fabrics and garments, with creations guided by ideas such as bringing multiple materials together in one-of-a-kind pieces. “Proto Packs” and “Proto Prints” also encourage DIY customization, presenting an approach centered on upcycling and repurposing, and on wearing clothes for a long time.
