Two souls. One ski.
Spitfire is an on-piste ski line in Nordica’s Dobermann family. Nordica was founded in Montebelluna, Italy, in 1939 by Adriano Vaccari and Odone Vaccari. Its release as Dobermann Spitfire is documented for the 2007/08 season, and the current lineup still includes models such as Spitfire DC. Based on World Cup racing skis, the line centers on a multi-radius design that combines the tips and tails of SL skis with the body of GS skis, aiming to deliver high on-piste precision and adapt to a variety of turns. The official copy is “Two souls. One ski.”

Concept

The entire line of Dobermann Spitfire skis is designed for skiers demanding high-performance, on-piste precision.

Spitfire is an on-piste line that Nordica officially refers to as “Dobermann Spitfire.” It carries forward the World Cup-derived construction and precision of Dobermann, while offering multiple models for a broad range of abilities, including Masters racers, instructors, and skiers who enjoy frontside skiing. In contrast to the pure-racing Dobermann FIS and higher-end models, it is positioned as an offshoot line that extends competition-oriented technology to a wider variety of skiers. Nordica officially identifies it as a “line” and part of the “Dobermann family.”
