VAVA Eyewear is an eyewear brand founded in Berlin in 2013 by Portuguese designer Pedro Passos da Silva. It focuses on sunglasses and optical frames and espouses the ideas of the antithesis of acceleration and rest, as well as being raceless, genderless, and ageless. Centered on a dialogue between technology and craftsmanship, its eyewear is made at a family-run factory in Italy and uses materials such as Mazzucchelli Eco-Friendly Acetate and Barberini lenses.
