Vuarnet is a premium heritage eyewear brand founded in France in 1957. Roger Pouilloux and Joseph Hatchiguian developed Skilynx lenses, and in 1961 an agreement was reached to use Jean Vuarnet’s surname as the brand name. The brand manufactures mineral glass lenses in-house and focuses on visibility in harsh light conditions, such as those found in snow and outdoor environments. Its offerings center on sunglasses and also include ski wear and apparel.
